Registration Policies

Student Registration

The Student Rate is available to students who are current SMS student members. If you are a student but not a current member, we invite you to join SMS to be eligible for this reduced rate.  Do the math and get started by clicking here.

Registration Fee Includes:

  • Access to all conference sessions and on-site meals
  • Opening Reception on Thursday Evening
  • Off-site Dinner at Alte Oper on Friday Evening
Optional ECB Tour

In addition to planning dinner for all conference attendees at Alte Oper on Friday, June 14, we have arranged a tour of the new building for the European Central Bank. As space is limited, we ask for pre-registration for the tour with your conference registration (click Register Now to learn more). There is no additional charge for this visit. In case of oversubscription, attendees will be randomly selected with preference given to current SMS members.

Note, should you be included in the ECB tour, we will collect your formal name and date of birth to provide to ECB security. This information will not be held by SMS or Frankfurt School and deleted by ECB after the event.

Not an SMS Member?

Along with many other benefits, SMS members receive a reduction on their conference registration fees. Member reductions apply during the calendar year of active membership.

Membership is open to all individuals actively involved in the field of strategic management. 

  • Regular-Membership Dues:US$ 160 for 2019
  • Student- Membership Dues: US$ 80 for 2019
