Yet, as markets are undergoing a period of heightened uncertainty, there arguably is no better place to hold the conference than the commercial capital of Europe’s economic powerhouse, Germany. The wider Frankfurt area contains one of Germany’s highest concentration of innovative activity and thus offers ample scope for practitioner contributions and site visits. Frankfurt is a center of business research, encompassing faculty at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, Goethe University Frankfurt, European Business School, Mannheim University, and WHU Vallendar amongst others. The Frankfurt School campus is within 15mins of mainland Europe’s biggest international airport, or 10mins from Frankfurt train station, with more connections than any other station in Europe.
