Libby Weber is an Associate Professor of Strategy at the University of California, Irvine. Her research integrates social and cognitive psychology into transaction cost economics to examine how these factors influence interfirm and intrafirm exchanges. Her work has been published in the Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, and Organization Science. She was nominated for the SMS Conference best paper award (2011 and 2014) and was a 2016 finalist. She also won a BPS Distinguished Paper Award in 2014. Libby has served as a Representative at Large for the Corporate Strategy IG and on the BPS Executive Board for the Academy of Management. She also serves on the editorial board at the Academy of Management Review. Libby has been actively involved in the Behavioral Strategy IG through organizing and participating in several panels, reviewing, and acting as a track chair for the special conference in Frankfurt.
